Centro Italiano school was founded in Naples in 1982 by a group of teachers specialized in teaching Italian as a foreign language.
Centro Italiano is authorized by the Italian Ministry of Education, is a part of the ASILS professional association and is the official testing center for CELI and PLIDA exams.
The school is located in the university area, in the historic center of Naples, close to the main transport routes, allowing to quickly move around Naples and its surroundings.
Centro Italiano has a warm, almost family atmosphere. It is located on the second floor of an old building. There are 7 classes with air conditioning, free Internet, vending machines for drinks and snacks.
The lessons are taught so that from the beginning students speak Italian. Classes are held by native speakers who have education in teaching Italian as a foreign language. In addition to textbooks, they use various extra materials, which make the learning process more interesting and complete.
Centro Italiano offers a wide range of courses: general Italian courses, theme and business courses, intensive courses, both group and individual ones. All year round, the school organizes different activities (culture, sports, theatre, music) where students can practice their Italian in an informal and friendly setting.
